Crews have begun working on the south side of Century Boulevard between La Cienega Boulevard and Inglewood Avenue as the Century Boulevard Mobility Improvement Project gets underway. There will be one lane of traffic going eastbound from La Cienega Boulevard to Felton Avenue and two lanes from Felton Avenue to Inglewood Avenue. These closures will allow for roadway excavation, removal and new concrete pavement and will continue through March, 2017. The project will improve the roadway surface conditions, bring all traffic lanes and signals to current codes and standards, improve traffic and pedestrian safety, and reduce congestion along Century Boulevard.
