Congratulations to the team from the Sheraton Gateway LAX on winning the first ever Gateway Kingpin Challenge – a fun bowling tournament pitting teams from various Gateway members against each other at the Westchester Bowlero.
Not only did all the teams have a great time, but they helped Gateway raise $4,500, which will be donated to the American Red Cross – Houston for disaster relief in the wake of Hurricane Harvey that recently battered the Gulf Coast.
Eleven teams of four bowlers each squared off in a two-game tournament. Sheraton Gateway notched 960 total pins, followed closely by the Wally Park team with 934 total pins. The Hyatt Regency team took home third-place with a score of 873.
Other Gateway members that participated, included LAX Marriott, Four Points by Sheraton, Hilton LAX, Westin LAX, Holiday Inn Renaissance and Courtyard by Marriott.
