As we near the end of 2020, it is time for us to put closure on a year like no other. From the COVID-19 pandemic to a historic presidential election, this year has brought us many things to reflect on and overcome.
The impact on air travel and hotel occupancies has been devastating. Even office buildings have felt the pain as tenants vacate space and allow employees to work from home.
But what gives me hope is the resiliency of the trade and tourism industry and the strength of our Gateway business community. It won’t always be easy, as there will be challenges, but I know we will emerge from this unprecedented year as better businesses and better people.
With the holiday season approaching, I wish you and yours all the best. I hope 2021 brings everyone health, happiness, and success in both your personal and professional lives.
