In an effort to help its members access a variety of important contacts throughout the city, Gateway Los Angeles has created an emergency contact list that is now available on cards that can be shared with concierges, security staff and property managers.
“It is sometimes difficult to know exactly who to contact if you need to speak with someone about a car that is parked illegally, for example,” said Gateway Executive Director Laurie Hughes. “We hope this card will enable our members to cut through the red tape and get directly to the person who can help them.”
Hughes added that the list also includes a website where members can file a police report with the Los Angeles Police Department and connect with the LAPD’s Senior Lead Officer – officers who are responsible for monitoring crime trends in the Gateway area, working with the Community-Police Advisory Board and acting as liaisons with detectives to stay informed of crime trends and special problems within the area.
