Welcome to Alfonso Torres, the new General Manager at the Embassy Suites Hotel LAX.
Alfonso began his hospitality career in 2001; and by 2002, he had joined the Embassy Suites LAX North team as a Night Auditor. Eventually he came to manage the Sheraton Ontario Airport Hotel (2011-2015), Hilton Garden Inn LAX/El Segundo (2015-2017), and most recently the Hilton Garden Inn Los Angeles/Hollywood (2017- 2019). “Of my nearly 20 years of hotel experience, over 10 years has been dedicated to the LAX market and 15 years to airport hotels,” he said. “I’ve had the pleasure to work with several different brands throughout my career; Choice, La Quinta, Starwood, and Hilton; and I am truly excited and honored to have returned to the Embassy Suites as the General Manager.”
Alfonso said he loves his hotel. “This property has always been very special to me; it provided me with my initial experience in the hospitality industry and it was during my time at this property that I realized I wanted to make hospitality/hotels my career.”
